Sited on a private, elevated crest overlooking the Kaipara River valley, Woodhill Rise enjoys expansive views over rolling pastures and wooded vales, all the way to Woodhill Forest and on to the Tasman Sea.
Woodhill Rise is family-owned and operated, and was built over the course of 2012 and 2013, opening as accommodation in 2014. The house at Woodhill Rise has been designed with your comfort and privacy in mind as custom-built boutique accommodation. Set on 14 acres in a mix of wild grasses, lawns, hundreds of newly planted fruit, nut and olive trees, and native bush, Woodhill Rise offers all of the comforts and conveniences in serene, rural New Zealand surroundings.
Located near the end of a quiet, country cul-de-sac, the house is well away from the road (and the nearest neighbours), so you don’t have to worry about traffic noise. As well as the neighbouring livestock over the fence and the local population of birdlife, we share the grounds with our growing flock of various heritage chickens, a small team of grass-powered lawnmowers (aka alpacas), a pair of beehives, and the resident farm-dogs, “Cherry” and “Cookie” the Shih-Tzus.
* Please note that, unless by prior arrangement to minimise disturbance to other guests, Woodhill Rise does not cater for child guests.
